ITH Pharma was founded in 2008 by the team that had previously founded, run, and successfully sold Intra-Tech Healthcare. With the launch of Intra-Tech in 1998, they met an unsatisfied critical need; the ability to provide complex intravenous treatments on a same day basis, delivering prefilled antibiotic syringes for children with cystic fibrosis – an innovation that significantly improved patient care and treatment efficiency.

ITH Pharma was the logical next step, scaling up the operation and significantly advancing pharmaceutical compounding in the UK. The company leads the industry in innovation by providing flexible services and producing both batch and bespoke items for adults, children, and babies. Helping to deliver a higher standard of care to patients is at the heart of what ITH Pharma does and it is proud of the organizational efficiency that has helped to ensure consistent growth, year on year.

In 2024, the company was acquired by H.I.G. Capital. The existing management team remained in place and announced a major expansion in compounding capability to accommodate future growth in demand. 32 additional Laminar Flow Cabinets have been added, increasing manufacture of PN, monoclonal antibodies and CIVAS by 88%.
